Olufunmi is a West African word meaning "God's Gift" and surely music is a gift. It is also the means by which we can help make this world a better place. Olufunmi Presents is a non-profit event production company. We do fundraising events such as concerts and festivals, we manage bands and provide bands for private parties, weddings, and other events, we also perform wedding and funeral ceramonies. We do fundraising for various non-profit organizations as well as other organizations that are trying to make this world a better place. We are the events and production organization of the Order of Olufunmi a non-profit religious order established in 1976, http:www.olufunmi.org it is the oldest Rastafarian organization in the western U.S. We also have a non Rastafarian community under the Directorship of The Reverand Ron Wesley, he is also Director of Olufunmi Presents. We have a community meeting house in Sacremento Ca. which is used for meetings and workshops for the community, there is also rehearsal space ,and job & life counciling is also provided. There is a community urban garden and plans for teaching how to grow food as well as to put together a low income food bank co-op and a fruit & vegetable stand. It is our goal to open up another community meeting house in the bay area soon. We are planning some great concerts in the near future to raise funds so keep checking our website for dates & details!
